Welcome to Seven Sisters Sanctuary. Are you are wondering if there really is 7 sisters? Well the answer is YES. Seven Sisters Sanctuary was started in 2008 by Sharon & Sandy, 2 of the 7 sisters that carry the "horse woman" gene. We come from as long line of horse people. It's in our DNA.
In 2016 we purchased 72 acres in Creswell, Oregon to establish a 501c3 Non-profit charity to save horses from the many undesirable conditions and situations that they have been subjected to. In March of 2019 we officially became a 501c3 Non-Profit Charity, unfortunately this was the same week that Covid 19 pandemic
shut the world down to a slow trot.
We continued to carry on our mission to provide a lifetime forever home to horses in need at Seven Sisters Ranch. The pandemic and global economic struggles have dramatically increased the number of horses that are needing safe, loving healthy homes. We need your help to continue to provide a soft landing for horses that are at risk. Unwanted, abandoned, neglected and abused horses are tossed aside and sold to kill buyers by the thousands every year. We take in these beautiful animals and provide a natural healthy herd environment for the rest of their lifetimes. We do not sell, adopt, breed or flip horses. We are not a training facility or breeding stable. Most of our horse residents would make terrible riding mounts and we believe that horses are so much more than riding partner. The horses at Seven Sisters Sanctuary just want to be horses, and that is perfectly fine with us.
We ask for your support in helping us with providing a happy herd family for the wonderful horses. It really does take a village to help turn the life stories around for these ponies. Please donate today and know that you're helping to feed and provide care for the Seven Sisters Sanctuary horses. Thank You
Meet the herd.
